The Ordinary Gardener is a gardening blog by me, Georgia Vaughan.

I’m an enthusiastic amateur gardener who happens to like reading and writing about plants, gardens and gardening as much as photographing them.

I’ve recently moved up to the Kapiti Coast from Wellington (a mere 35 minute drive north). After spending the last 16 years developing a cottage garden in clay soil I’m making a new garden by the sea.

When I’m not writing my blog I’m teaching, dog walking and working on my novel.
